BetweenPay is designed to minimize the financial information sent to our servers.
Purchase and account information
We store the email associated with your purchase, product-access status, and payment identifiers needed to confirm or revoke access. PayPal processes payment credentials; BetweenPay does not receive your PayPal password or full card details.
Your budgeting data
Your balance, paychecks, bills, goals and budgeting setup are stored locally in your browser/device in the current version of BetweenPay. They are not transmitted to our commercial access database simply to calculate Safe to Spend.
Local storage and backups
BetweenPay uses browser storage so your plan remains available on your device. If you clear browser/site data, local budgeting information may be lost unless you exported a backup.
Service providers
We use PayPal for payments and Supabase for authentication and purchase-access records. Those services process information under their own privacy terms.
